ABOUT THE RETREAT
The OK NSF EPSCoR S3OK Research Retreat will be held Sept. 22 and 23, 2022, at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City (5750 Will Rogers Rd., Midwest City, OK 73110).
All research collaborators (i.e. students, postdocs, faculty, etc.) participating in the OK NSF EPSCoR Socially Sustainable Solutions for Water, Carbon, and Infrastructure Resilience in Oklahoma RII project are requested to attend this key meeting, which is designed to support research progress, expand project knowledge, and stimulate new collaborations. Student researchers' work will be highlighted during a judged student poster session; see below for details and abstract submission information.

ABOUT THE JUDGED STUDENT POSTER SESSION
Submission Deadline: Sept. 5, 2022 (11:59 p.m. CT)
Undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students performing research in support of the NSF EPSCoR S3OK RII award are invited and encouraged to present scientific posters at the upcoming Research Retreat. The poster session is planned for the afternoon of Thurs., Sept. 22. Students' scientific posters will be judged during the session; abstracts will also be scored as a component of judging. The student selected as the top presenter will qualify to receive travel funding to attend a national conference of their choice for the purpose of presenting their poster to a broader audience. (Final approval for conference selection will be made by EPSCoR; travel and reimbursements must meet State guidelines, with preapprovals issued as required.)

- Posters may only be presented by undergrads, grad students, and Ph.D. students.
- All students who register for the poster session will automatically be registered for the judged portion of the event.
- Everyone submitting an abstract/presenting a poster must also register for the Retreat (see Retreat announcement and registration link below).
- All Retreat attendees will view posters during a special reception on the afternoon of Thurs., Sept. 22.
- Poster abstract submission deadline: Sept. 5, 2022 (11:59 p.m.).

Reservation Instructions:
Call-in reservations are the preferred method, as you can request tax-exempt status via phone, as well as different bedding types via phone; these options are not available via the online reservation link. Guests are responsible for their own room reservations and charges.
- Call the hotel reservation desk at 405-455-1800 and specify "EPSCoR Research Retreat" as your group; request a tax exemption as a State Agency if applicable.
- You may also make your hotel reservation online.
Be sure to select your desired check-in/check-out dates from the provided calendar.
Room reservations made online will be charged taxes; you will need to remedy the tax situation with the hotel when you check-in. Additionally, only double-queen rooms are available online.
