NSF Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) Program Director Presentation

NSF Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) Program Director Presentation

The University of New Hampshire’s Responsible Conduct of Research & Scholarly Activity (RCR) Committee invites you to attend a virtual presentation on the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Ethical and Responsible Research (ER2) Program. Dr. Jason Borenstein, Program Director in NSF’s Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, will introduce the program, including a brief history of the ER2 program, and discuss the types of proposals that are supported by the program as well as the merit review process. A portion of the time will be set aside to address the audience’s questions.

Research projects funded by the ER2 Program examine what constitutes or promotes responsible conduct of research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields as well as how to best instill responsible research practices into researchers, practitioners, and educators at all career stages. Please contact Julie Simpson with questions.
