2025 Research Day at the Capitol Poster Presentations & Awards Ceremony

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: April 15, 2025

 

Q: Who should register?
A: Anyone who will be attending Research Day at the Capitol events on April 15th, including the poster session and/or awards ceremony. This includes:

  • Parents
  • Friends
  • Faculty mentors
  • University representatives and
  • The student researchers themselves

This registration page is a general participant sign-up for the 2025 Research Day at the Capitol. Everyone who will be attending the event at the State Capitol Building on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, should register here. This includes all guests of the student researcher, faculty mentors (who will be attending the event), and the student researchers themselves. Registration information is provided to our funding agency, the National Science Foundation, as a requirement of our grant; continued funding is contingent upon accurate reporting. Additionally, registered guests will receive an official Research Day at the Capitol program book the day of the event. 

Registered guests are invited to participate in the following activities at the State Capitol on April 15, 2025:

  • Students Display Posters (8:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m., Capitol Building, 2nd Floor Rotunda)
  • Awards Ceremony (11:30 a.m. - Noon, Capitol Building, Multi-purpose Space/Room #100)

Please note: Should any public health concerns arise, event organizers will modify the scheduled activities in order to implement the program safely; all registered guests will be notified of any changes via email.

Special Instructions for attendees who may be family members of the student researcher and not affiliated with a university: On those fields below that request "organization" and "department or discipline," please provide information as it pertains to your professional/work roles or mark the field as "N/A" and explain in the write-in field (e.g. homemaker, machinist, K-12 student, retired, etc.)

Your assistance in providing demographic information will allow us to fulfill the requirements of our funding agency, the National Science Foundation (NSF). Data reported to NSF will not include any personal identifying information; all information will remain confidential.
