EPSCoR Researcher Yiqi Luo Elected AAAS Fellow
Yiqi Luo, professor in the University of Oklahoma's Department of Microbiology & Plant Biology, was recently elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). He will be honored at the AAAS Fellows Forum on Saturday, February 15, 2014, during the annual meeting in Chicago.
Dr. Luo is a member of the Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR Research Infrastructure Improvement Award No. IIA-1301789 (2013-2018), “Adapting Socio-Ecological Systems to Increased Climate Variability.” The program is a multi-institutional collaborative project that includes researchers from Oklahoma State University, Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, University of Oklahoma and University of Tulsa. Researchers from these institutions are working together to significantly advance the understanding of how socio-ecological systems can adapt sustainably to increased climate variability caused by a changing climate.
