NASA/EPSCoR Travel Grant Solicitation

Proposal Submission Deadline: 
Thursday, October 1, 2015

The purpose of the NASA/EPSCoR Travel Grant Award is to provide the first step in initiating contact and forging direct partnerships between faculty researchers and NASA Centers, with the ultimate goal of developing possible research projects. Up to six Travel Grant Awards (maximum budgets of $3,000 each) are available.  Funding will allow faculty to spend up to three days and two nights at a NASA Center visiting with scientists. Faculty may include students in travel.

Completed applications must include:
  1. A cover/application page:Word/PDF
    (Your specific research area and your emphasis on one of NASA's Four Mission Directorates):
  2. A budget (using the provided form) Word/ PDF
  3. A one-page abstract.
  4. A letter of interest from a NASA Center counterpart.
  • As a result of the REAL ID Act, visitors to NASA Centers must have a federally issued form of identification such as a passport, military I.D., or federal I.D. badge OR a driver's license issued by a compliant state as listed on the Homeland Security website.
  • If any of the members of your party do not have one of these acceptable forms of identification, then the support letter from your NASA Center contact must state that you will have an escort at all times while on Center.

Awards will be announced by October 12, 2015. 
 
**All travel must be completed by January 19, 2016.  
**All travel must be domestic only. Travel Grant funds may not be used for international travel.
